Simon Woolf is Chief Human Resources Officer at PATRIZIA and responsible for global HR. For ten years prior to joining the company, he was Senior Vice President of HR at Sony Music Entertainment and headed up HR from London. In this role, Simon was responsible for all Sony Music HR activities in Africa, Asia/Pacific, Latin America, Canada and Europe. His role involved implementing the HR strategy across all areas relating to personnel, including activities relating to business partnering, organisation development, and learning and development (OD & L&D), talent acquisition and reward functions. Prior to Sony, he worked for ten years in various HR positions for the British supermarket chain Asda Walmart. Simon holds a degree in modern European studies, politics, economics, French and German from Loughborough University.
Thomas Wels joined the PATRIZIA Management Board as co-CEO in May 2020. Previously, he worked for 15 years at UBS Asset Management where he held a variety of positions including Head of Global Real Estate and, until 2019, Chief Operating Officer. Thomas has strong expertise in all segments of the property and infrastructure markets and has managed a broad spectrum of funds, investment trusts and other alternative investment vehicles. Having worked in executive positions for a number of different real estate investment companies, he has a wealth of experience in strategic planning, business and organisational development, and governance in asset management. Thomas holds a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
