Conducting Officer for Risk Management (m/f/d) - full-time or part-time

As Conducting Officer you will play a key role whitin the Risk Management team.
Your responsibilities
- Head of the Luxembourg Risk team, providing leadership, guidance, and prioritization while fostering a strong and embedded risk culture
- Act as Conducting Officer for (mainly) Risk Management of the Luxembourg AIFM, with overall responsibility for the effective design, implementation, and oversight of the risk management framework and oversight over delegated and outsourced functions
- Identify, measure, mitigate, monitor, and report all types of risks
- As part of the 2nd line of defense, closely coordinate with the business units (1st line of defense) on the identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of risks
- Ensure compliance of the Management Company and the AIFs with internal risk policies and strategies, regulatory requirements, and applicable Luxembourg and EU regulations
- Regularly review, update, and further develop risk management policies, procedures, and methodologies
- Prepare key documentations such as Board and Conducting Officer packs at AIFM management level, including not only risk-related reporting but also broader management topics and oversee coordination of meetings as required
- Perform ad hoc analyses, formulate recommendations, and support decision making for senior management and governing bodies
- Implement, improve and maintain risk management databases, models, and systems
- Maintain and further develop the stress testing framework for the Management Company and the AIFs
- Execute the risk bearing capacity calculation for the Management Company
- Define, maintain, and monitor risk profiles of the AIFs aligned with their individual investment strategies
- Be in charge of outsourcing controlling for the Luxembourg AIFM, with responsibility for the design, implementation, and ongoing oversight of the outsourcing framework in line with CSSF and regulatory requirements
- Ensure comprehensive outsourcing controlling, including ongoing oversight and monitoring of delegated functions and service providers in line with CSSF requirements
- Act as a contact for internal audit, external auditors, and supervisory authorities, and manage related requests and communications on risk management, outsourcing, and governance matters
- Serve as a member of the PATRIZIA Group wide Risk team, contributing to the alignment of local and group wide risk standards, methodologies, and reporting
- Actively contribute to PATRIZIA Group wide projects and cross functional initiatives, including regulatory implementations and strategic AIFM level topics
- Promote and strengthen risk awareness and risk culture across the organization.
What we look for
- University degree in real estate, real assets, economic sciences, mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in risk management within the Luxembourg fund/AIFM environment with experience as risk officer, team leader and/or conducting officer role
- Sound knowledge of Luxembourg and EU regulatory requirements applicable to AIFMs and investment funds
- Knowledge of real estate, Infrastructure and/or private equity accounting and finance is an advantage
- Strong understanding of financial mathematics, statistics, and modeling techniques would be considered as an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English; good knowledge of German is an advantage
- Very good user skills in MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; IT affinity is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, as well as collaboratively within an international environment
- Strong analytical mindset with a result and deadline oriented working style
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with senior management, boards, auditors, and regulators
