Senior Legal Counsel (m/w/d)

As Senior Legal Counsel you will play a key role within the Legal team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Self-reliantly advising on all legal aspects of the development and formation of international fund products and setting up of fund and investment structures in close collaboration with PATRIZIA’s international fund management and product development teams
  • Advising the international capital markets team regarding their global marketing and distribution activities
  • Regulatory advice to PATRIZIA’s regulated entities, in particular FCA regulatory
  • Drafting and negotiation of product related agreements between PATRIZIA group entities and external service providers (e.g. placement agent agreements, distribution agreements)
  • Answering legal and regulatory queries in relation to PATRIZIA’s international investment platforms (primarily UK, Luxembourg and Singapore), fund products, separate accounts, strategic partnerships and financing agreements
  • Align agreements with depositary banks
  • Steering of (international) external legal counsel

What we look for

  • Qualified solicitor with strong academics
  • Minimum 4 years PQE as a fund lawyer focussing on fund formation, fund and/or financial regulatory and distribution of alternative investment funds
  • Work experience at an international investment manager or law firm
  • Pre-existing knowledge and express willingness to learn about new areas of law (e.g. Luxembourg and Singapore regulatory law, international marketing laws)
  • Experience working with international investors
  • Strong analytical mindset, structure oriented and inter disciplinary thinking
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Independent and self-reliant, solution focused working style
  • Experience in project steering and transactional work
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Entrepreneurial, business savvy approach
  • Convincing and confident manner
  • Team player with strong intercultural skills and ability to solve conflicts
  • Very flexible and resilient
  • Fluent in English, other language skills (e.g. German) advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office
