As Senior Inhouse Tax Counsel (m/f/d) you will play a key role within the Structuring team in London, Luxembourg or Hamburg.

Your Responsibilities

  • Structuring of international fund products in close collaboration with PATRIZIA’s international fund management and product development teams
  • Structuring of international real estate and infrastructure investments for PATRIZIA’s funds (primarily UK, Luxembourg, Singapore and German fund structures)
  • Tax assistance for underwriting and cash flow modelling
  • Answering tax and regulatory queries in relation to PATRIZIA’s international investment platforms (primarily UK, Luxembourg and Germany), fund products, separate accounts, financing agreements and international real asset transactions
  • Answering ongoing tax queries of external partners and of internal departments of all PATRIZIA locations
  • Aligning agreements and structures with depositary banks and auditors
  • Steering of external tax and legal counsel as well as auditors

What we look for

  • Tax lawyer or tax professional with strong academics
  • At least 5 years post qualified experience as a tax lawyer or tax professional focussing on the structuring of real asset transactions and alternative investment funds
  • Work experience at an international investment manager, law firm or accounting firm
  • Pre-existing knowledge and express willingness to learn about new areas of law (e.g. British, German and Luxembourg regulatory law, international tax law)
  • Experience working with international investors as well as experience in project steering
  • Strong analytical mind set, structure oriented and inter disciplinary thinking
  • Strong affinity for numbers and accounts
  • Strong sense of responsibility, very flexible and resilient
  • Independent and self-reliant solution focussed working style
  • Team player with strong intercultural skills and ability to solve conflicts as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English, German language skills advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office
