About the Role
This role will be part of a newly created function within the Real Estate team, that will focus on:
- Supporting the PATRIZIA Sales team with the attainment of new clients for the Real Estate products and solutions, acting as the asset class specialist in such discussions
- Support key Real Estate client relationships through the regular interaction / update meetings, as well as formal product AGMs
- Work to identify new product / solution ideas based on market intel and feedback, working with broader PATRIZIA sales teams, and the investment team
- Support growth plans of the entire Real Estate platform
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- In partnership with key members of the broader PATRIZIA sales teams, accelerate and deepen client discussions for the Real Estate team within the Real Assets platform. This captures acting as the asset class expert in client discussions for both future vintages of existing and new product ranges as well as for bespoke solutions designed in partnership with those clients
- Act as key interface between PATRIZIA sales teams and the investment team. Represent the investment team in key client meetings and foster strong relationships with key asset class specialists within client organisations
- Coordinate planning for key client campaigns in the region for future Real Estate products
- Support the identification of new product ideas through active client engagement to identify the future needs of clients
- Enhance and promote the Real Estate team’s branding / narrative and vision, including through active participation at industry events
- Working with senior members of the Real Estate team, support the design of client specific investment solutions that meet the need of identified clients. This includes possible syndication support for JV assets managed on behalf of large institutional investors
Accountabilities
- Working with colleagues to further communicate and enhance the brand / messaging of the Real Estate equity team (and broader Real Assets) amongst institutional investors
- Support the identification and attainment of new clients
- Supporting the design and discussion of client specific mandates
Experience Required
- Track record of working collaboratively
- Experience of working in an institutional asset manager – with a focus on Real Estate – is preferred
- Strong sense of self-motivation encouraged and motivated by quest for building new relationships and growing the private markets division
- Strong intellectual ability and interpersonal skills to establish credibility with the institutional investor community and senior leaders throughout the Firm
- Collaborative and cooperative approach to a team-based sales model
- Strong communication skills – ability to articulate complicated concepts and systems concisely
