Analyst/Associate - Transaction Management (m/f/d)

To help us create a better tomorrow, we are currently looking for an ANALYST/ASSOCIATE (M/F/D) to play a key role within the TRANSACTIONS team in Amsterdam.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the Transaction Manager in the purchase and sale of real estate

  • Provides analysis and support for Transactions, incl. management, monitoring and reporting during the transaction pipeline and process

  • Tracking and registering new offers to central management information system

  • Evaluating property documents, analysis of the macro and micro location of the property and delivery of market comparable reports

  • Providing analysis of property specific real estate divers, such as: rental levels, growth projections, cost prognoses and overall outgoing structure

  • Providing financial / cash flow analyses as part of building the business case

  • Supporting the preparation of (tender) offers, LOI's, etc.

  • Compiling internal necessary documents (e.g. Deal Introduction Papers, Investment Profiles and Memoranda for Fund Management, Investors, etc.)

  • Contributing to the Due Diligence process (requests for proposals to DD partners, arranging the collection and availability of data, reviewing DD findings with initial cash flow model and preparing DD Management summaries

  • Monitoring and managing the critical dates in the transaction process

  • Tracking and collecting general market information, performing market analysis and producing market reports covering the essential real estate sectors and subsectors

  • Assisting with or managing of local transaction implementation (process standardization and quality assurance)

  • Drafting and creating a large variety of additional analyses and relevant documents, incl. but not limited to presentation documents for investor (tours), reporting to Head of Transactions BeNeLux


What we look for:

  • Team player

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent to a college degree. Preferably 3 to 5 years related real estate experience or any similar combination of education and experience

  • High level of commitment and resilience

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles, i.e. ability to conduct advanced financial analysis

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to parties involved (internal and external)

  • Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret documents.

  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferable in Dutch and/or German

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
